Our founding team:
Cheri Christiansen (founder) earned her Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Business Administration and began her professional career as a CPA, later going on to earn a Masters of Healthcare Administration and to complete coursework in Certified Financial Planning. Cheri has always had an interest in business and has also worked for the nation’s largest pediatric hospital, doing budgeting and the financial analysis and debt financing of a massive expansion project.
She spent her “second career” caring for her family – two wonderful boys! – and managing the accounting of her former husband’s psychiatry practice.
After some major life adjustments and time spent traveling and soul searching, Cheri realized that her dream was to bring the services and experiences that have impacted her life in so many positive ways together under one roof, in the community she loves. And thus, the Four Pillars vision was born.

Leann Spofford earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Marketing at Shippensburg University in Pennsylvania. She was a product manager for Oncology Therapeutics Network and at Bristol Myers Squibb in San Francisco, CA. From 2001-2003 she was a marketing consultant for National Oncology Alliance in San Anselmo, CA.
She relocated to Florida with her family. Leann worked in marketing with the Lakewood Ranch Business Alliance, developed a brand and partnerships for Circuelle Foundation (a breast health awareness company) and marketing for AeroIQ (a private air charter company) in Sarasota, FL.
Leann is currently completing an aerial yoga instructor training program. One of her passions is aerial yoga and aerial silks and she will be able to teach classes at Four Pillars. Nancy Brown was born and raised in the suburbs of Cleveland, Ohio. She graduated from the University of Toledo with a degree in Education, however, after teaching for a few years, she decided to step away from her career and focus on raising her family. Lakewood Ranch has been home to Nancy and her three boys since since 2003.
When free time presents itself, Nancy loves to travel. She is recharged through the experience of the diversity of people, culture, food, and beauty everywhere she visits. From the Alaskan landscape to the gorgeous waters of the Mediterranean. Historic European cities and sites, to lush Caribbean islands. The bungalows of Bora Bora, to the sites and sounds of cities all across America.
Nancy also finds great pleasure in cooking and baking, especially for others. In her down time, she can be found at the beach, spending time with her family, reading, and enjoying music.
After being a stay at home mom for over 12 years, Nancy was inspired by dear friend to become an Esthetician. She enrolled and attended the Florida College of Natural Health, completed the Advanced Esthetician Program with honors, and is now a Licensed Esthetician in the state of Florida.
Having worked in multiple facets of the Spa industry and having operated her own business, Nancy is thrilled and excited to be the Spa Director at Four Pillars.
Nancy understands people and looks forward to providing each and every client with an “Ahhh-xperience”. She approaches every treatment with a focus on providing a luxurious and pampering, result driven, and deeply relaxing experience, all in a comfortable, elemental atmosphere.

Supporting our community:
Oftentimes people who need life coaching sessions and inspirational workshops are unable to afford the services.
We have established a separate, non-profit organization for our coaching services, our youth program, our adult workshops, and meditation classes.
Our coaching waiting area will be a butterfly meditation garden. We have plans to build a meditation tower to connect with nature, appreciate nature’s beauty, and discover your life purpose. Opportunities are available to name the meditation tower, features in the gardens, or stepping stones on the path leading the way to a beautiful connection spot on our nature preserve.
People who receive positive results with our coaching staff or attending workshops will have the option to contribute to a nonprofit, tax-deductible fund for those who cannot afford such services. All profits of Four Pillars Coaching, Inc. will be available for unreimbursed services. Contributions will be made by Four Pillars, Inc. to the nonprofit organization annually.
We will also be applying for grants and holding fundraisers to raise funds for clients in financially challenging times.
Scholarships will be granted based on income guidelines for clients to receive a package of coaching sessions or to attend inspirational workshops that can positively influence lives.
